We all know Tinder, a platform that allows us to get appointments more easily, however, Muslims have a new proposal, because for them it can be much more complicated to get a couple.

Its creator, Shahzad Younas, affirms that “I took what was good from Tinder and added a lot of functions that are oriented to the Muslim market”, this with the purpose of getting a couple that wants to get married.

The application has different benefits for its users in which is the inclusion of their religion, how to practice and if you use veil or beard. Placing the invisible photo is a benefit for them and their messages can be scanned to find offensive words.

One of the most important benefits is to have a wali or guardian who can read your messages, this service is frequent in women, who have a custodian who helps them find the perfect husband.

The market for apps to link is already fairly segmented and each time more niches are covered, some of which we have touched on Applicants (large sizes, over 50, bachelors who care for themselves, black people, cannabis users, etc. ). But, did you know that Muslims also have a specific dating app for the community?

Muzmatch has been founded by Shahzad Younas (34 years old), a former Morgan Stanley banker who quit his job to start, and Ryan Brodie, an iOS engineer (only 26 years old). Younas launched the first version of the application in 2015, after having invested $ 200,000 of their savings. In less than a year, it got 50,000 users worldwide.

Although Brodie is not a Muslim, he saw the business opportunity that Younas had proposed. Brodie was not exactly a rookie, because despite his then 22 years had already founded and sold two startups.

WhatsApp is  one of the most famous app in social media recently whatsapp is working on a video-calling feature. the Facebook-owned messaging service is also testing a feature that will allow users to invite people to a group via NFC tags as well a new group invite feature.

WhatsApp is currently beta testing the video-calling feature for iOS and android which is only available on few devices running the beta version of the app. Android Police has put out screenshots from users, who help translate WhatsApp to different languages. The report says the users had received ‘new strings to translate, including Video call’ and that ‘Video calling is unavailable at this time’. While voice-calling was announced last year, it appears to be the natural next step of progression for WhatsApp.

The new beta app shall give access to users of the video calling function, the video calling feature in WhatsApp is one of the much awaited features which have been anticipating for some time now.

Once this function will be enabled within the app, it will give the application a significant edge and also prove to be a tough competition for the existing rivals in the market. Till date video calling feature was only available in some of the applications i.e. Snapchat, Facebook Messenger, Hangout, Viber etc. Till date, Skype still remains as one of the best options for users when it comes to video calling.

The emergence of WhatsApp video calling shall be revolutionary for users in various ways. We have the largest number of users on WhatsApp which amounts to approx. 1 billion active users. Some of the major reasons for increase in demand and use are the obsession of users to have access to the encrypted data and also deal with the obsession of privacy.

With the kind of features and privacy available in the application, it seems users would be all the more excited to make use of the video calling feature which shall further maintain their privacy and give users an upper hand to give a try to the new feature. While there is so much excitement amongst the users to make use of the WhatsApp video calling feature, it would also be interesting to see if this feature can be used or supported in case of WhatsApp groups or not.

So you can give ‘match’

Muzmatch is a mobile application that goes beyond the classic dating apps. Through a very sophisticated algorithm, it shows users similar people who are geographically close. The goal is not to look for a roll or a few hangouts, but rather something more serious: find a husband or wife.

“For Muslims, marriage occupies an important part of your life,” explained Younas in an interview with Business Insider. “We do not really have appointments, we just get married.”

The entrepreneur has ensured that the market for digital products for Muslims is “at least five years behind the mainstream market and dating apps”, with platforms only focused on the web. Therefore they decided to launch a specific product for the mobile field.

In these almost four years the application would have reached one million users and 20,000 people would have married after meeting through the service. The tool is available in most countries of the world.

One of the things that makes Muzmatch unique is its extensive verification process. All profiles are manually examined by the administration team that confirms users by SMS messages and by GPS location. In addition, everyone has to take a selfie to verify their account, they can only see 15 profiles per day and, in case of registering a rude behavior of any of them, is expelled from the service.

Singles in the app also have the ability to keep their photos hidden until they are ready, and can use a nickname. This helps members feel more comfortable until they get to know someone suitable, and keeps them anonymous to friends and family.

The founders of Muzmatch also claim that they have become the largest app for Muslims worldwide and recognize that they have received purchase offers, although for the time being they have rejected them.

Download The Muzmatch team ensures that “you can find your prince” if you use this App.
